The police have apprehended the two companions engaged in the alleged rape case based on the allegation.
Digital Desk: In a heinous incident, a teenager was allegedly raped by her
friend in Guwahati on Sunday morning.
According to sources, the victim was a 14-year-old girl who was on
her way to tuition at 4.45 a.m. today when her friend led her to an office
where she is accused of being raped by him.
The girl said that her friend took her to his friend's office
and raped her on her way to tuition class.
Meanwhile, after learning
of the occurrence, the victim's family filed a rape case against the suspects
at Paltan Bazar Police Station.
The police have apprehended the two companions engaged in the
alleged rape case based on the allegation.
In Guwahati last month, a 46-year-old man was accused of sexually
assaulting and molesting a little girl.
According to accounts, the accused discovered the 14-year-old
underage girl alone at home and took advantage of the situation to commit the
horrible act.
According to the police, a
case numbered 393/23 u/s 376(3) IPC r/w/s 6 POCSO Act was registered in
connection with the situation on March 6, and additional action would be taken
in accordance with the law.
