Digital Desk: Telugu short film Manasanamaha has made it to the Guinness World Records to become the short film with the most award wins ever. Deepak Reddy directed the short film.
According to the official Guinness website page, the short has won 513 awards from various international film festivals.
Adivi Sesh, a well-known actor and Pushpa director Sukumar congratulated Deepak on the great honour. Deepak, the filmmaker of the short film, posted a photo of the Guinness record on Twitter.

Major fame Adivi Sesh congratulated Deepak on his accomplishment on Twitter. He added that he is eagerly waiting Deepak's feature film debut. "Dear Deepu, what a phenomenal achievement. A game changing short film. I also have the pleasure of calling you a friend as well as the distributor of #Major. I can't wait for you to shake the world with a feature film! (sic)," Adivi Sesh wrote.
Sukumar, the director of the popular movie Pushpa, congratulated Deepak on this special honour. Viraj Ashwin and Drishika Chander play the leading characters in the short. On a budget of $5000, the film was shot in five days.
Along with Valli Raghavender, the film also features Prithvi Sharma, Satya Varma, and Deepak Varma. Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam dubs were made for the movie. The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival, and the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival are just a few of the festivals where the short was screened.
The director describes the movie is a romantic drama primarily told in reverse. Deepak disclosed his plans to make the short into a feature film in an interview with The Hindu. But he stated that it would be produced on a much larger scale.
