Digital Desk: In an unique tribute to the late music legend, the heartthrob of Assam Zubeen Garg, nearly ten thousand women came together at the Ranthali Bagisha Stadium in Kalaigaon to perform his immortal song “Mayabini Rati.” Originally planned as a performance by five thousand women, the participation doubled, turning the event into a mesmerizing sight of unity and devotion.


The two days tribute program by Kalaigaon Regional Students Union, AJYCP Kalaigaon and the people of Greater Kalaigaon was a success. The event saw the presence of Zubeen’s close friends, including Pabitra Rabha and Dr. Hitesh Barua, AJYCP leader Palash Changmai, and countless fans.


The iconic song was sung by women and artists of the different areas of Darrang and Udalguri districts and an emotional and aesthetically rich atmosphere dedicated to the memory of their beloved “Heart of Assam,” Zubeen Garg.
