The featured faculty members, respectively, are Prof. Dhruba K Bhattacharyya, Prof. Debendra Chandra Baruah, Dr. Shyamal Kumar Das, Prof. Niranjan Karak, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Deka and Prof. Partha Pratim Sahu.
 
 
Elsevier is a globally reputed Publishing & Information Analytics Company, and the lists were published in 2022 and 2023 by an independent study. The lists are prepared based on a publicly available database of top-cited scientists that provide standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator (c-score). Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification.
 
 
Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh, the vice-chancellor of the institution, congratulated the faculty members and stated that Tezpur Institution is fortunate to have academics and researchers on staff who have made significant contributions to the university's expansion.
