AAP claimed that the BJP had approached 40 of its Delhi MLAs with an offer of Rs 20 crore apiece to swap sides.

Digital Desk: The AAP said on Thursday that the BJP's "Operation Lotus" had failed in Delhi and that it would continue to communicate with its MLAs to prevent them from being swayed by the saffron party.

While all 62 of the AAP's legislators were present at a meeting at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence, the party claimed that 40 of its Delhi MLAs were targeted by the BJP with an offer of Rs 20 crore apiece to swap sides.

The country has witnessed the BJP's strategies of attracting MLAs of other parties in states like Maharashtra and Goa, according to AAP chief spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj.

"Operation Lotus' failure in Delhi is good news for us. We just witnessed the BJP luring MLAs and attempting to overthrow governments in various states, including Maharashtra and Goa, but it has not been successful in Delhi, Bhardwaj stated.

"We'll stay in touch with our MLAs to prevent them from being swayed. The speaker continued, "We'll keep a watch on the BJP's upcoming measures.

After the conversation at his residence, Kejriwal travelled to Rajghat with every MLA from his party to offer prayers for the demise of the BJP's "Operation Lotus".

In response to the BJP's accusations about the excise policy that the Delhi government has since scrapped, Bhardwaj said the saffron party first needed to repair its narrative on the subject.

The AAP leader stated, "They should determine whether it is a Rs 1 crore scandal or a Rs 1.5 lakh crore scam."

AAP national convenor Kejriwal questioned the origin of the reported Rs 800 crore offer made by the BJP to 40 AAP MLAs to switch sides at Rajghat.
