Digital Desk: According to authorities, three IAF evacuation planes carrying 628 Indians from the Romanian capital of Bucharest, Hungary's Budapest, and the Polish city of Rzeszow landed at the Hindon airfield here in the early hours of Thursday. The Indian Air Force's first aircraft from Bucharest arrived around 1.30 a.m., and Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt greeted them at the airfield, they said. India has been evacuating its residents through chartered planes from Ukraine's western neighbours such as Romania, Hungary, and Poland since February 24 because to the Russian military incursion.
