According to reports, the accused approached the girls by offering them chocolates and then attempted to forcibly push them into a vehicle. The students later alleged that the  person also made inappropriate physical contact during the encounter.


The situation took a dramatic turn when a local woman noticed the suspicious activity and immediately intervened, preventing the attempted abduction. Her quick action helped rescue the three 2nd standard students from further harm.


Following the incident, the school authorities promptly informed the parents about what had happened. The children’s guardians later filed a formal complaint at the Hatigaon Police Station, leading to a swift investigation.


Police examined CCTV footage from the area and successfully identified the accused. The young man , identified as Sabirul Islam, also known as Bappi, was found to be involved in the disturbing act. Acting quickly, officers tracked him down and arrested him from Khanapara.


The incident has sparked concern among residents and parents, raising questions about the safety of schoolchildren in the city. Police have assured that strict action will be taken and security measures will be strengthened to prevent such incidents in the future.
