Digital Desk: "I have removed Partha Chatterjee as a minister. My party takes strict action. There are many plannings behind it but I don't want to go into details," Mamata Banerjee said

Partha Chatterjee was dismissed from Mamata Banerjee's cabinet on Thursday as a result of his role in the state's major School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment fraud. Partha Chatterjee, the secretary-general of the TMC, held a wide range of ministries in the state cabinet, including public enterprises & industrial rehabilitation, legislative affairs, information technology and electronics, and commerce & industry.

CM Mamata Banerjee will now temporarily take over Partha Chatterjee's ministries of industry and other departments. "Partha Chatterjee is no longer a minister, per my order. My party follows rigorous rules. Although there are numerous plans in place, I won't go into them now "said Mamata. After roughly Rs 50 crore in cash was found in homes connected to Chatterjee, who has been detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), requests for his dismissal had been growing.
