Digital Desk: The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) and the three services chiefs briefed President Droupadi Murmu about Operation Sindoor on Wednesday.

Taking to X, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said that General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, along with General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, and Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff called on President Droupadi Murmu and briefed her about Operation Sindoor.

During the briefing, she also applauded the valour and the dedication of the Indian Armed Forces that made India's response to terrorism a sterling success.

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, destroying 9 terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 civilians' lives.
