Yogi Adityanath has made a major decision for the prisoners locked up in the state's jails.


Digital Desk:Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has made a major decision for the inmates living in the state's jails. Reportedly, from now onwards, Mahamrityunjay Mantra will be played in all the state prisons.


Not only that but Gayatri Mantra tunes will be heard. As per official reports, these mantras will be played for the mental well-being of the prisoners locked up in the jail. Dharamveer Prajapati, the State Jail Minister, has issued instructions to the jail administration.


According to information, Gayatri and Mahamrityunjaya mantras are being heard in many districts of the state, following the instructions of Jail Minister Dharamveer Prajapati. Reportedly, the state government believes that the prisoners will become good citizens by listening to the tunes. That is why the jail authority has connected the prisoners with spirituality. 


In addition, the government has decided to play these mantras tunes in jails so that the prisoners can get peace of mind. Moreover,  the state government of Yogi Adityanath has banned the use of plastic bottles and goods in jails.
