Digital Desk: Twitter users all over the world are experiencing issues with the micro-blogging platform. Many users experienced issues with the site on Friday morning. 

Many people reported being unable to access the website. When the feed page initially loads, a window that says "Something went wrong, but don't worry - try again" appears. 

"I'm unable to enter Twitter and receiving an error prompt...Something went wrong, but don't worry — let's try again," a social media user wrote. 

Down-detector, an outage-tracking website, has also reported troubles with the platform. The outage began at about 3 a.m. and reached a peak around 7 a.m. Users throughout the world have been affected.

Meanwhile, Twitter has been making headlines for different reasons, due to Elon Musk. In one of his first major moves, Musk took control of Twitter and sacked its senior executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal.
