Digital Desk: On Monday, two United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) cadres surrendered to the Assam Rifles' soldiers in the Tirap region of Arunachal Pradesh.

Manjit Gogoi, also known as Nilotpal Axom, and Rohini Gogoi, also known as Upen Axom, were the names of the two surrendered cadres.

Three NSCN (K-Nikki) active cadres were detained in Nagaland on September 29, 2023, and their possession of weapons and ammunition was seized.

The Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police allegedly arrested the cadres on September 27 (Wednesday) during an operation.

According to reports, the arrested cadres' possessions included three 0.32 calibre pistols, ammo, and military supplies.

It may be mentioned that NSCN (K-Nikki) cadres engaged in extortion among other antisocial actions.
