Guwahati: Union Health Minister Mansukh L Mandaviya to visit Assam on Tuesday to review the covid situation in the Northeast.
Reportedly, The Union Minister will also visit AIIMS, which is under construction in Changsari, Kamrup district, at 4.45 pm today.
Moreover, the Union Minister will discuss the covid-19 situation with the health officials in a meeting which is going to be held at 1.35 pm today.
As per the government record, the state recorded 758 new coronavirus cases, taking the caseload to 7,707. The positivity rate of the state stands at 0,69 percent.
The new cases which have been reported in the next 24 hours in the state of which the highest number of cases are found in Kamrup Metro (163), Barpeta (49), Lakhimpur (49), and Nalbari (45).
