Lucknow: The country where the Prime Minister is taking the initiative for the overall development of its youths. In that nation, 69,000 youths were lathi-charge by the Uttar Pradesh police, violating the Indian democracy.

Reportedly, on Saturday, the UP police resorted to Lathi-charge when around 69,000 youths took out a candle march in Lucknow against the raising recruitment issues in the government schools.

The incident occurred when the teachers were moving towards the chief minister’s Yogi Adityanath residence.

The incident video receives backlashes from the netizens, including the opposition parties.

On the action of the police, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted in Hindi, “Under the rule of BJP, the path is being paved to become ‘Vishwa Guru’ by lathi-charging future teachers. We are with the demands of 69000 teacher recruitment. Youth should say today’s – not BJP.”

Moreover, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slamming the Yogi Adityanath led BJP government, said that it beat those seeking employment with sticks and asked people to remember this when the BJP comes seeking votes.

 “The UP government beat those seeking employment with sticks. Remember this when the BJP comes seeking votes!” Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi.

He also posted a purported video of the police baton charge on Lucknow protesters.
