Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the catering arrangements during a recent cabinet meeting held in Nalbari on June 27. Despite clear directives from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) for a simple vegetarian meal, elaborate dishes were served, contrary to his instructions.

In an official communication, Chief Minister Sarma conveyed deep unhappiness regarding the extensive spread provided to attendees. The directive for simplicity in food and beverage arrangements was disregarded, prompting him to issue a stern reprimand.

"This office had repeatedly instructed for a simple vegetarian meal during the Cabinet Meeting at Nalbari. Unfortunately, this instruction was not adhered to, and instead, an elaborate lunch with multiple items was arranged. I express my extreme displeasure over this action," stated Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The incident underscores the importance of adherence to official directives and the need for meticulous planning in government proceedings.
