Digital Desk: Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani are promoting their next movie Jugjugg Jeeyo to the fullest extent possible. On Tuesday, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani took a ride in the Mumbai Metro for promotional purposes. Several photos and videos from the ride have been circulated on the internet. People have now chastised the actors for eating in the subway.
In a video, Varun and Kiara were spotted eating vada pav inside the metro. While in other photos, Anil, Kiara, and Varun were seen chatting and joking inside the metro during their short ride. Varun claims that he has discovered that taking the metro at rush hour is the best way to save time. However, the actors were eventually chastised for eating inside the metro.
As per the Mumbai Metro guidelines, no one is allowed to eat while travelling on the train. Asking the same question, one person wrote, “Is eating allowed inside the Metro?” Calling it a ‘VIP treatment.” “Wow! VIP treatment for them?” the other wrote.
Moreover, many other users on social media chastised the performers for breaking the regulations of the metro. Varun and Alia have yet to respond to the situation.
On June 24, Jugjugg Jeeyo will be released in theatres. Raj Mehta, who previously backed the 2019 hit film Good Newwz starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Diljeet Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani, directs the family drama, which Dharma Productions and Viacom18 studios produce. The film also stars Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli, in addition to Varun, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. Varun Sood, a reality TV personality, will also make a cameo appearance in the film.
