Patna: A vehicle carrying 25 passengers fell into the Ganga River in Patna’s Danapur area. At least eight people have been killed in the accident while others remain missing.

The incident took place on Friday morning when a passenger vehicle carrying at least 25 people was going over the river via Pipa Bridge. The vehicle reportedly lost balance and fell into the river. As per inputs, the passengers were coming back from a tilak ceremony.

Total right bodies have been recovered by the rescue workers. The deceased have been identified as Ramakant Singh (75), Geeta Devi (60), Arvind Singh (50), Saroj Devi (65), Anuradha Devi (75) and Ashish (8). The bodies of two other kids, aged 12 and 14 are yet to be identified.
