Deshmukhya's professional journey reflects a proven track record of leadership across diverse sectors and geographies. Before joining Prag News, he served as CEO of Digi Jadoo Broadband Limited in which he led media distribution and business development to build the Bangladeshi digital content to the countrywide satellite platform. During his tenure, the growth rate of the media and the outreach of media services increased tremendously.
In his earlier roles, Deshmukhya has worked as Associate Director at ESPN STAR Sports, where he controlled the retail business in East India. His role was in the management of an operator network of multiple services and channel distribution with regulatory compliance and revenue responsibility. He also worked as the Regional Manager for East India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh at BBC Worldwide.
He is also a founder and project director of Aspiring Excellence Pvt. Ltd. which is the venture working on corporate training and management coaching. Furthermore, his business sense has been manifested by his association at KS Associates, a self-owned business in consultancy.
Kunal also had a good international exposure as Director as the Director of Ariana Radio & Television Network in Afghanistan (2006-2008). He has previously made his mark as Senior Territory Manager in Star India Pvt. Ltd.; (2001-2006) and Territory Sales Incharge in Joyco India (now Wrigley India (1997-2001).
