Victor Das was apprehended again earlier today in a separate case in Guwahati on Saturday.
On Saturday, Victor Das was granted bail in a domestic assault lawsuit filed by his wife.
According to authorities, he was arrested at Goshala Police Station in Maligaon on charges of domestic abuse filed by his wife.
His wife said he physically abused her at her parental home in Jayanagar.
Following the incident, his wife filed a complaint with the police.
Meanwhile, in the domestic violence case, he was given bail.
It should be highlighted that this is the second time the police have detained Victor Das.
