However, this is not the first time Kohli is serving his teammates drinks during an important game.

Virat Kohli served as Team India's water boy in Match 2017 even though he was the captain of the squad during the Dharamsala Test match against Australia. This is when King Kohli had to drop out of the playing XI after a shoulder injury.

Not just Kohli, but MS Dhoni has done this, but he has also served as the team's water boy when he wasn't in the starting lineup, actively being involved in the game despite not being a part of the squad.

In the second One-Day International between India and the West Indies, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were absent from the playing XI, with Hardik Pandya acting as Team India's captain.

Hardik Pandya explained why two of Team India's top players were absent, saying, "We were looking to bat first. On this surface, which has some ups and downs, we want to see how many goals we can score. Virat and Rohit are taking a break in this match because they have been playing nonstop cricket. They can be in good shape for the third ODI.
