Digital Desk: Indian cricket stalwart Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, recently announced they were blessed with a baby boy - Akaay - on February 15. Vamika is the older child of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. There have been rumors regarding Virat Kohli's whereabouts as he hasn't played in over a month.

With a social media post, the former captain of the Indian cricket team put an end to the rumors.

"With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world!" Kohli informed in an Instagram post.

"We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."

Recently, a picture of Virat Kohli with a child dining at a restaurant has been making the rounds. Several social media sites claim that the image was taken in London and the kid in the photo is Vamika.

Star batter of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, took to social media to share his joy after Rohit Sharma and company won a historic series against England. In the fourth Test match of the five-match series, India defeated England by five wickets on Monday in Ranchi, securing an unassailable 3-1 lead. Kohli opted out of the Test series as he welcomed a baby boy Akaay with his wife Anushka Sharma.

"YES!!! Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination, and resilience. @BCCI," he posted on social media platform X.

India's home dominance withstood the 'Bazball' storm as Rohit Sharma's team defeated England in the fourth and penultimate Test by five wickets after a hard-fought contest, winning the series 17 times in a row in their backyard and sending a stark warning to the visitors' one-dimensional strategy.
