Strong earthquake vibrations were detected earlier this morning in northern India...

Digital Desk: The national capital was rattled again on March 22 by an earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale, reported the meteorological department.

At 4:42 p.m., the earthquake struck at latitude 28.66 North and longitude 77.03 East, at a depth of 5 kilometres.

Strong earthquake vibrations were detected earlier this morning in northern India, including the Delhi-NCR region, as well as several other countries in the region.

According to sources, the 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. 

The epicentre is thought to be 90 kilometres from Kalafgan in Afghanistan.

The earthquake tremors lasted several seconds, prompting terror among residents in the impacted districts, and as a result, individuals fled their homes as the ground rocked beneath their feet.

According to reports, individuals were reciting the Quran in some locations, hoping for divine help to safeguard them from natural disasters.
