Digital Desk: A shocking incident occurred in Jagiroad, where a husband lost his life due to repeated assaults by his wife.

This heinous act was reportedly motivated by the wife's desire to acquire her husband's money and jewellery.

According to sources, Halima Begum, a woman from Jagiroad town, had married Jalal Uddin, a resident of Nakhola Basti in Jagiroad.

After their marriage, Halima Begum and her husband Jalal Uddin began living at her parental home.

Since the marriage, Halima had been pressuring Jajal Uddin to buy a car and build a mansion.

When her demands were not fulfilled, she allegedly subjected her husband to physical and mental abuse.

Despite her cruelty, Jajal Uddin endured the torment in silence for the sake of their two children.

The situation took a tragic turn on December 10, when Halima's abuse escalated beyond limits.

Following an argument, she dragged her husband out of his house and repeatedly assaulted him.

This horrifying act was captured on a neighbour's CCTV camera.

Later, upon learning about the incident, Jalal Uddin's family rushed him to a hospital.

Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment.

On Thursday, his body was brought back to his home, leaving his mother and relatives heartbroken and in tears.

The grieving family has filed a complaint against Halima Begum at the Jagiroad police station, seeking justice for the late Jalal Uddin.
