The incident took place in the Nagor Tea Garden Point area of Udharband.


According to reports, the detained woman has been identified as Rehena Begum (35), a resident of Laxman Nagar Part-2 area in Hailakandi district.


Locals grew suspicions after noticing the woman sitting in the Nagor Tea Garden Point area for an extended period, raising suspicion.


When questioned by the locals, she reportedly failed to provide satisfactory answers, further intensifying their doubts.


Upon searching her belongings, locals claimed to have found items such as blades, chocolates, and toys meant for children.


Following this, they detained her and handed her over to the police at Udharband police station.


Police have since taken the woman into custody and initiated further investigation into the matter.
