The criminal, Rubén Daro Viloria Barrios, is also known as "Juancho." According to reports, the drug lord is responsible for the death of the woman's partner. As a result, the woman collaborated with the cops to apprehend him.
According to a local newspaper, the woman used her charms to entice the man and make him fall in love with her. By posing as Juancho's lover, the woman gathered evidence against him and turned it over to the police's Special Operations Command.
After following the drama for several months, the woman arranged to meet the man Montera where the cops had apprehended him. The Colombia Police said of the incident, "According to the information gathered by the Intelligence Directorate investigators, this person has a criminal record of more than ten years, making himself known for his warlike capacity in coordinating attacks against the Public Force."

The drug lord received a 22-year prison sentence.
