Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, a 40-year-old woman lost her life after being attacked by neighbours in Fakirganj.
The deceased had been identified as the wife of Shomes Ali, a resident of the 3rd sector of Birsingh Gaon Panchayat under the jurisdiction of Fakirganj police station.
As per allegations, the woman was brutally attacked by neighbours Sukur Ali, also known as Babu (32), along with Ismail Hossain and Monuwar Hossain, using a wooden stick.
Sukur Ali reportedly struck the woman on the head with the wooden stick.
She was immediately rushed to Dhubri Medical College; however, she was referred to Gauhati Medical College for better treatment.
Unfortunately, she died while being rushed to Guwahati.
Meanwhile, the victim's family has filed a complaint at the Fakirganj police station. However, the police have not apprehended any of the accused involved in the incident.
