Digital Desk: After a video of a woman being refused access to Punjab's Golden Temple went viral on social media, an official of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) issued a clarification.

“This is a Sikh shrine. There is a certain protocol for every place of worship... Everybody is welcome here. If an official acted inappropriately, we apologise. Since it was missing the Ashoka Chakra, the flag she was wearing was not our country's.  It could have been a political flag,” SGPC General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal said.
