Digital Desk: The victorious Indian team, winners of the Men's T20 World Cup on June 29, arrived at the IGI Airport in New Delhi in the early hours of Thursday.

Led by Rohit Sharma, the team secured their second T20 World Cup victory at the Kensington Oval, defeating South Africa by seven runs in an exhilarating final. However, their return journey was delayed due to Hurricane Beryl, which stranded them for three days.

To facilitate their return, the BCCI organized a special chartered Air India flight named 'AIC24WC' from Newark, New Jersey. The Boeing 777 landed at Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown during the early hours of Wednesday, carrying the Indian team, support staff, players' families, BCCI officials, and 22 accompanying media persons.
