Digital Desk: Mitchell Santner led New Zealand to a resounding 99-run victory over the Netherlands, solidifying their unbeaten streak in the World Cup. Santner's remarkable performance, which included a five-wicket haul, proved to be the decisive factor in this thrilling encounter.

Chasing a formidable target of 323 runs for an unlikely win, the Dutch side encountered early setbacks as their openers departed cheaply. Colin Ackermann emerged as the standout performer for the Netherlands, crafting a hard-fought 69 runs off 73 deliveries. Bas de Leede, despite his good form, managed to contribute 18 runs from 25 balls. Teja Nidamanuru showed promise with his 21 runs from 26 balls before falling victim to an unfortunate run-out.

The team's skipper, Scott Edwards, displayed his batting prowess with a solid 30 runs from 27 balls, while debutant Sybrand Engelbrecht made a commendable effort with 29 runs from 34 balls. Aryan Dutt chipped in with 11 runs from 20 balls towards the end of the innings. However, the challenging target proved insurmountable as the Netherlands concluded their innings at 223 runs in 46.3 overs.

With this victory, New Zealand continues to dominate in the World Cup, and Santner's exceptional performance will be remembered as a key moment in their campaign.
