Singh will now address at a BJP rally in his Lok Sabha district after postponing the gathering in Ayodhya.

Digital Desk: Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and a member of the BJPwill now address a party rally in the Katra area of Kaiserganj, his constituency, on June 11.

For the 2024 elections, the Mahasampark Abhiyan of the BJP is organising the rally.

Singh will now speak at a BJP rally in his Lok Sabha district after postponing the gathering in Ayodhya.

Singh had already announced the cancellation of his planned "Jan Chetna Maha rally" for June 5 in Ayodhya, citing a police inquiry into claims of sexual harassment made by seven female wrestlers, including a minor, against him.

He had said that the Supreme Court had issued "serious directions."

Singh said on Facebook on Friday that it had been decided to organise a Sant Sammelan in Ayodhya on June 5 to think about how evil was permeating society. The "Jan Chetna Maharally, June 5, Ayodhya Chalo" programme has been postponed for a few days, meanwhile, as police continue to look into the charges and respect the serious directives of the Supreme Court.

He asserted that "my political rivals and their parties have made false accusations against me."
