The Delhi Police agreed to file an FIR on behalf of seven female wrestlers (including a kid) on April 28 only after the Supreme Court intervened.

Digital Desk: Brij Bhushan Singh, president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), was accused of sexual harassment and intimidation by female wrestlers, and said he would hang himself if even one accusation against him was proven. Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, and other well-known wrestlers from India are conducting a new sit-in protest against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

"Even if one accusation against me is true, I'll hang myself. I won't be able to go into great detail about the situation because the Delhi Police are handling it. If these wrestlers have any video or other evidence against me, I have been saying this since the very beginning. You should ask anyone who is associated with wrestling.. is Brij Bhushan Ravana?, " he is heard saying in the video.

"Ask anyone, other than these wrestlers (who are complaining), if I've done anything wrong. I have dedicated the last 11 years of my life to wrestling and this nation," the WFI president said.

The wrestlers claim that the government delayed releasing the committee's report after it was formed to investigate the accusations made against Brij Bhushan Singh. The WFI president's position should be removed, according to the protesting wrestlers.

They also expressed dissatisfaction about WFI's decision to resume operations despite the pending investigation.

The Delhi Police agreed to file an FIR on behalf of seven female wrestlers (including a kid) on April 28 only after the Supreme Court intervened. It was the wrestlers' "first victory in the fight for justice," they said.
