Guwahati: As per the recent reports from the health department, Assam has recorded 318 fresh COVID-19 cases. It is 23 more than the previous day. This also takes the total tally of cases to 6,04,536.
In terms of recovery rate, it stands at 98.34 percent at present.

As far as deaths are concerned, five more deaths have been recorded. It takes the total death toll to 5,916. Currently, the death rate stands at 0.98 percent.
The state now has 2,767 active cases. It has come down from 2,797 on Thursday.
Concerning vaccinations, 2.55 crore eligible people have been vaccinated so far. Within this, 62,45,531 have reportedly been jabbed with both doses of the vaccine.
