Digital Desk: A massive fire broke out late at night at a garage located on Garbhanga Road in Lokhra, Guwahati, causing extensive damage. The fire completely gutted eight newly built day-and-night buses, reducing them to ashes.

The incident occurred at a bus body workshop named “NEW S S Motor Work”, where several new bus bodies were under construction and repair. According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 12 midnight. No repair or fabrication work was being carried out at the workshop at the time of the incident, making the cause of the fire unclear.
