Digital Desk: The 8th Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship begins at Nehru Stadium in Guwahati from January 28 to February 1, with almost 200 participants. Senior tennis player Susan Das Choudhury, former tennis player Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, and Pranay Bordoloi, advisor of Guwahati Tennis Association, were seen at the inaugural ceremony. 

At the meet, Susan Das spoke on how tennis has changed in Assam compared to what it was in 1974. Riniki Bhuyan Sharma also expressed her views on how Assamese players could go on to play at the national and international levels in tennis.
