The Argentine won the final point to complete his victory...

Digital Desk: Beloved Argentine tennis star Juan Martin del Potro said goodbye to the sport with a heavy heart after a career with injuries. In an emotional exhibition, Del Potro finished his last match with Novak Djokovic, whom he beat 6-4, 7-5. Then, in a warm gesture, Djokovic let the Argentine win the final point to complete his victory, and the two cried as they embraced at the net. Supporters cheered as they honored his extraordinary career, one marked by impressive forehand and durability against the Big Three.

One of Del Potro's career highlights was winning the 2009 US Open, where he defeated Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in two successive matches. Much of his iconic status in tennis is derived from his willpower and perseverance, despite only winning one Grand Slam title.

Roger Federer shared an emotional tribute, stating, "You are a special player and person. The best is yet to come for you." In addition, Djokovic praised del Potro and referred to him as "an amazing human being." However, he had to leave owing to medical complications, including serious knee problems. Del Potro opened up about his daily physical agony and the different medicines he consumes every day. Despite all these hurdles, he has proven to be an inspiration for tennis fans across the globe through his firm resolve and deep passion for tennis.
