Digital Desk: A tribal girl from Dibrugarh named Rajina Gowala, who took first place in the 11th South Asian Ashihara Karate Championship in 2022, has asked the government to set up some training facilities for her.

I had to work during the day, so I was unable to attend normal classes. She is employed on a tea plantation as a tea leaf plucker. I practise karate in the early hours of the day. For the past seven years, I have been studying karate, "Rajina Gowala informed the journalists."

The 11th South Asian Ashihara Karate Championship 2022 took place from June 24 to June 26 at Chalsa Gayanath Vidyapath High School in West Bengal.

"I used to attend school earlier, but due to unforeseen events, I had to stop. I also wished to make a decent decision. I soon discovered that Bhuyan Sir was instructing everyone in karate. I consequently feel as though I ought to follow suit. She said, "I ask the government to offer some facilities.

Rajina Gowala's karate instructor, Tapan Bhuyan, said: "We beg the government to provide this player with certain facilities. There are still many obstacles to overcome in addition to a lengthy road ahead. As we lack the necessary training tools.
