Digital Desk: The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital conducted a mock drill to assess covid preparation in Guwahati.
As stated by the Kamrup Metropolitan District Collector, the principal of Gauhati Medical College, and the superintendent, "there is enough Covid medical equipment. Adequate oxygen in oxygen plants is installed in medical schools and outside hospitals, in addition to medical colleges, can receive oxygen too."
They indicated that 1,000 Covid beds were prepared in the previous year and that they would be ready again this year if needed.
Everything has been planned to be ready within 24 hours, they further added.
After Gauhati Medical College the facility is also followed by Sonapur Hospital.
