Digital Desk: Former Pakistani captain Shoaib Malik on Saturday confirmed his separation from Indian tennis player Sania Mirza by announcing his marriage with actress Sana Javed through a social media post.
Taking to Instagram, Malik captioned a few images from his wedding with Sana. Malik captioned the post on his social media handles, "Alhamdullilah. And We created you in pairs.”
Malik's declaration has gone viral on the internet.
The news of Malik's marriage to Sana Javed was confirmed as well by his manager.
Meanwhile, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic story on Instagram a few days back and captioned it, "Divorce is hard".
Recently, Malik and Mirza had celebrated a significant occasion. Izhaan, the son of famous athletes, recently competed in a swimming tournament and took home a medal. The news was shared by Shoaib Malik on Instagram. Sania Mirza, who manages Izhaan's Instagram account, also shared pictures from the swimming tournament.
Sana, a well-known actress from Pakistan, previously got married to musician Umair Jaswal. Both had tied the knot in 2020 and the reason behind their separation is unknown.
Malik and Mirza were married in 2012. In October 2018, the couple welcomed a son, Izhaan, into their family.
