Digital Desk: Assam Pradesh Congress Youth Committee President Dr. Angkita Dutta, was ousted from her position on Thursday (December 15).
Sources said that the election process for the new president will begin from tomorrow.
The reason for her removal is yet to be known.
It should be noted that Dr. Dutta was appointed to the post last year. She is the daughter of the late Congress leader Anjan Dutta.
In August, she was summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Saradha funding reported in the 'Dainik Batori' newspaper.
