Guwahati: Assam has been continuously witnessing a series of aftershocks since the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Assam and Northeast at 7:52 on Wednesday morning. Till date, the state has been rattled with as many as 20 aftershocks, with the most recent one of 3.6 magnitudes striking at 1.04 pm this afternoon.

A series of aftershocks kept people mostly awake last night.
At least two people died of shock, while dozen others received injuries during the day after the earthquake hit the region.
