Digital Desk: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will visit Assam in the first half of March, state party leaders were informed on Monday.
Kejriwal will travel to Assam alongside AAP national general secretary Sandeep Pathak.
According to sources, Bhaben Choudhury met with Arvind Kejriwal and Sandeep Pathak in New Delhi, along with a number of senior leaders from the party's state unit. The committee assessed many development projects started by the Kejriwal administration, such as mohalla clinics and the facelift of Delhi government-run institutions.
According to Lakshmikanta Dubey, the party's state joint-coordinator, when Arvind Kejriwal and Sandeep Pathak visit Assam, it will naturally provide a spontaneous boost to the AAP organisation in the state.

Kejriwal hasn't been to Assam in several years. His next scheduled visit will be his first formal visit to Assam since becoming Chief Minister.
