CM Himanta Biswa Sarma handed out appointment letters at Guwahati's Sankardeva Kalakshetra on Saturday.
Digital Desk: At Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati on Saturday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed appointment letters.
The appointment letters were distributed to up to 325 candidates of irrigation department.
The candidates were congratulated by CM Sarma, who also announced that 325 individuals had been hired for positions in irrigation.
Engineers from the majority of agencies have been hired thus far, with the exception of Public Works Department.
He declared, "A bill will be submitted before the Assembly in which recruitment will be based on this Act and appointments would be made on the basis of a lottery."
