Digital Desk: On June 14, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma paid a late-night visit to the Maligaon flyover construction site in Guwahati to check the ongoing work.

On Tuesday, June 13, two persons were hurt when an iron shuttering slab fell on them beneath the still-under-construction flyover project. The event also caused damage to a vehicle.

This comes just a few days after a video leaked on social media showing deadly sparks from ongoing welding work at the flyover falling on vehicles travelling immediately underneath it.
