Guwahati: Assam reported 139 fresh covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the active caseload to 2,510. The positivity rate now stands at 0.71 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 19,713.
Reportedly, six people have succumbed to covid-19 on Wednesday, while 244 were recovered and discharged.

The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-43, Lakhimpur-10, Jorhat– 15 and Kamrup (Rural)-13.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 5,98,759 with a recovery rate of 98.38 percent.
Moreover, covid –related fatalities in the state have reached 5,973 with a death rate of 0.98 percent.
