Guwahati: Assam reported 247 fresh covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the active caseload to 1,954. The positivity rate now stands at 0.53 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 46,574.

Reportedly, three people have succumbed to covid-19 on Tuesday, while 229 were recovered and discharged.
The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-115, Barpeta-14, Kamrup Rural-12 and Dibrugarh- 16.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 6, 03, 463 with a recovery rate of 98.48 percent.
