Guwahati: Assam reported 324 fresh covid cases on Saturday, taking the active caseload to 2,621. The positivity rate now stands at 0.81 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 39,768.
Reportedly, three people have succumbed to covid-19 on Wednesday, while 219 were recovered and discharged.

The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-88, Barpeta-50, Jorhat– 21 and Kamrup (Rural)-17.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 5,98,515 with a recovery rate of 98.37 percent.
Moreover, covid –related fatalities in the state have reached 5,967 with a death rate of 0.98 percent.
