Guwahati: Assam reported 384 fresh covid cases on Wednesday, taking the active caseload to 2,415. The positivity rate now stands at 0.61 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 62,536.
Reportedly, four people have succumbed to covid-19 on Wednesday, while 226 were recovered and discharged.

The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-147, Sonitpur-23, Golaghat – 22 and Jorhat-21.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 5,98,087 with a recovery rate of 98.40 percent.
Moreover, covid –related fatalities in the state have reached 5,962 with a death rate of 0.98 percent.
