Digital Desk: Tanuj Nath, an Assamese film director, was awarded an Honorary Jury Mention honour for his first feature film "Made in Nalbari" at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, which was held in Noida, Delhi on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Previously, "Made in Nalbari" received the Best Film (Jury) Award at the 7th Indian World Film Festival, Best Feature Film at the Gangtok International Film Festival, and the Golden Fern Film Award.

"MADE IN NALBARI" is a bittersweet road drama-comedy based on the individual stories of three people and the emotional and personal difficulties they are undergoing. Their stories will be merged in a taxi trip as they discover commonalities. It has to do with the numerous emotional crises that diverse groups of people experience, as well as how every group's underlying emotional connection is the same.

This will be a didactic film about the issues that men encounter in their personal and professional lives, their connections with their moms, their relationships with their wives and children, and their emotional loads.

However, throughout the journey, the characters are nuanced within their familiar types and share a lively chemistry. They are a joy to watch together from beginning to end, and even if the adventure begins without knowing one other, the end will hint at being lifelong friends.
