Digital Desk: On Sunday morning, a big fire broke out in a godown in Guwahati's Barsapara area.
According to preliminary information, the fire started at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning at a godown called Bajrang Ispat in Barsapara. The furniture in the godown was reduced to ashes.
The extent of the damage, however, has yet to be determined. Meanwhile, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) arrived on the scene to extinguish the flames. A short circuit is alleged to have triggered the incident.
