Digital Desk: A rhino was found dead on Saturday in the Bhuyanpara range, close to the Rupohi camp, in Manas National Park in Assam.

After the incident, Dr Vaibhav C. Mathur, the park's field director, arrived at the scene. The officials moved quickly to retrieve the rhino's carcass.

The precise reason for the rhino's demise is still unknown, leaving park and wildlife officials in quest of explanations.

This terrible occurrence highlights the persistent difficulties in protecting the park's precious rhino population.

A one-horned rhino's skeleton was found earlier on August 2 in Assam's Manas National Park.

According to sources, the skeleton was found in the national park's Bansbari zone. 

The rhino is thought to have perished after fighting with another rhino, according to speculation. 

Forest officials were informed soon after.
